Architecture in Himachal Pradesh

Himachal Pradesh is a living textbook of mountain architecture. In valleys such as Kullu, houses and temples follow kath-kuni construction, where layers of deodar timber alternate with dry stacked stone, giving walls that flex rather than crack during earthquakes.
