Students who have studied 6th to 12th standard continuously in Tamil Nadu Government, Corporation, Municipal, Adi Dravidar & Tribal Welfare, Kallar Reclamation, Forest Department, or any other Government-managed school. Applies on top of all other categories including OC.

Sons / Daughters of Ex-Servicemen
Certificate from an officer of the Tamil Nadu Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare (not below Assistant Director rank). Discharge certificate and Ex-Servicemen ID card of parent also required.
Persons with Benchmark Disabilities
B.Arch is suitable for all 21 listed disabilities except 100% blindness. Medical Board certificate (minimum 3 doctors) of the district required, in the prescribed format.
Eminent Sports Persons
Selection based on total marks for sports achievements per Annexure III of the brochure. In-person verification at Chennai.
