CAP Allotment

KEAM B.Arch 2026 CAP Allotment Process

The Centralised Allotment Process is how Kerala fills B.Arch seats. It is online, rank-based, and runs in phases. Here is how each phase works.

Phases at a glance

Trial Allotment
Tentative

A non-binding mock run that shows the seat you would get with your current options. Use this to fine-tune your option list before Phase 1 starts. No fee remittance and no reporting in this phase.

Phase 1 Allotment
Tentative

First binding allotment based on your rank, category, and registered options. You must remit the prescribed fee online and report at the allotted college within the deadline, or you lose the seat and all subsequent options in this stream.

Phase 2 Allotment
Tentative

Second allotment to fill vacant seats and process upward movement. You can edit your option list before Phase 2 starts. If your existing seat is upgraded, the upgrade is automatic; you cannot retain the lower-priority allotment.

Mop-up / Spot Allotment
Tentative

Final round to fill any remaining seats. Spot allotment may be conducted college-wise. After this phase, candidates who hold options without taking admission are subject to liquidated damages on any fee already paid.

Option registration

Online option registration is mandatory before each phase of allotment unless CEE notifies otherwise. You will not be allotted a seat in any college / course combination that you did not opt for. (Clause 11.6.4, Clause 11.6.7)

Fee remittance after allotment

Reporting at the college

Carry these originals at the time of admission (Clause 11.7.1, Clause 13.6):

Original mark list of qualifying examination

Hepatitis-B vaccination proof (per AICTE guidelines)

Receipt of fee remitted

Data sheet of KEAM 2026

Note: Hepatitis-B vaccination is mandatory before joining the college, per AICTE guidelines.

Liquidated damages

Candidates who file or retain unnecessary options without taking admission on a final-phase allotment will lose any fee already paid to CEE if the resulting vacant seats stay unfilled. (Clause 12.2.3(c))
