Refund Policy

1. Overview
This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which students of Neram Classes may request a refund of fees paid. By making a payment and enrolling in our courses, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms of this Refund Policy. All refund decisions are at the sole discretion of Neram Classes administration.
2. Refund Eligibility
Refund requests are accepted ONLY within 24 hours of the payment completion timestamp. After 24 hours, no refund requests will be entertained under any circumstances. The 24-hour window is calculated from the exact time the payment was confirmed (for online payments) or verified by admin (for direct transfers). Each payment is eligible for only one refund request. If a refund request is rejected, the student cannot submit another request for the same payment.
3. Processing Fee
A processing fee of 30% of the paid amount will be deducted from all approved refunds. This fee covers administrative costs, payment gateway charges, and processing expenses. For example: if you paid Rs. 25,000, the maximum refund amount would be Rs. 17,500 (after deducting Rs. 7,500 as processing fee). The processing fee is non-negotiable and applies to all refund requests regardless of the reason.
4. Administrative Discretion
All refund decisions are made at the sole discretion of the Neram Classes administration. Even if a refund request is submitted within the 24-hour window, approval is NOT guaranteed. The administration will review each request on a case-by-case basis considering factors such as: the reason for the refund request, the timing of the request, the student's engagement with the Services, and any other relevant circumstances. The administration's decision is final and binding.
5. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, follow these steps: Step 1: Log in to your account on the Neram Classes platform (app.neramclasses.com or neramclasses.com). Step 2: Navigate to your applications or payment section. Step 3: Click on the 'Request Refund' button (available only within 24 hours of payment). Step 4: Fill out the refund request form with the required information. Step 5: Submit the request and wait for the administration's decision. You will be notified via email and WhatsApp about the status of your request.
6. Required Information
When submitting a refund request, you must provide: (a) Reason for joining: Why did you initially enroll in the course? (b) Reason for discontinuing: Why do you wish to discontinue and request a refund? (c) Additional notes (optional): Any additional information to support your request. Incomplete or vague submissions may result in automatic rejection of the request.
7. Review Process
Upon receiving a refund request, our administration will: (a) Review the request within 24-48 business hours; (b) Verify the payment details and eligibility; (c) Evaluate the reasons provided; (d) Make a decision to approve or reject the request; (e) Notify the student via email, WhatsApp, and in-app notification about the decision. If approved, the refund will be processed within 5-10 business days.
8. Refund Method
Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method used for the transaction. Razorpay payments will be refunded through Razorpay's refund mechanism. Direct UPI/Bank Transfer payments will be refunded via bank transfer to the source account. The refund processing time is 5-10 business days from the date of approval, depending on the payment method and banking processes. Neram Classes is not responsible for delays caused by banks or payment gateways.
9. Installment Payments
For students who opted for installment payment plans: Only the first installment is eligible for a refund request within the 24-hour window. The 30% processing fee applies to the installment amount paid, not the total course fee. If the first installment is refunded, the enrollment will be cancelled and the student will not be obligated to pay the second installment. Second installment payments are NOT eligible for refund under any circumstances.
10. Exceptions and Special Cases
The following are NOT eligible for refund: (a) Payments made more than 24 hours ago; (b) Second installment payments; (c) Payments where the student has already accessed course materials or attended classes; (d) Payments made using promotional offers or 100% scholarship waivers; (e) Cases where the student has violated the Terms and Conditions. In exceptional circumstances (such as medical emergencies or bereavement), the administration may consider requests outside the standard policy at their sole discretion. Such requests must be supported by valid documentation.
